Women Directors & Executive Officers

WEL, in collaboration with the University of Miami, is proud to announce the release of its first annual Florida Census on the number of women occupying board seats in the top 150 public companies.

The study, which was released on March 16^th, is a groundbreaking review illustrating gender diversity within Florida’s Top 150 public companies.

The results?

Women hold only 7.9% of board seats in Florida’s Top 150 companies.
Women account for only 7.6% of executive officer positions within these companies.
18 of the 150 companies surveyed have 2 or more women on their boards. We would like to recognize the 18 companies for their commitment to boardroom gender diversity.
