Debbie Markoff is a founding member and vice
president of WEL.As National Sales Leader for
the Personal Financial Counseling practice of
Ernst & Young, Debbie is responsible for driving
the market share growth of this $35M practice,
which provides
wealth management solutions to high net worth
individuals, families and foundations. Debbie
also guides E&Y’s women’s initiatives through
her position on the South Florida Women’s
Initiatives Local Advisory Board and by chairing
a committee focused on providing E&Y’s
professional women growth experiences and tools
to promote their development. Prior to joining
EY, Debbie cultivated her sales acumen during
her 9 years with AT&T/Lucent Technologies where
she managed the design, sales and implementation
of PBX/call center communication equipment.
Debbie received an MBA from the University of
Miami and a B.A. in Speech Communication from
the University of Illinois. Debbie’s extensive
community activities, in addition to WEL,
include: Executive Committee and Board Member,
Make-A-Wish Foundation; Board Member,
Children’s Diagnostic & Treatment Center;
Mentor, Women of Tomorrow; and Trustee Member,
Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. |
