Michele Haas

Michele I. Haas is the CFO of the Integrated Home Care Division at Univita Health. She has 25 years of extensive experience in finance and operations in publicly-traded company, private/venture capital entrepreneurial organization, as well as Big 4 Public accounting. For over the past 9 years she held senior leadership roles at CIGNA Corporation (Fortune 150 Company). For most of her tenure she was the Chief Financial Officer for CIGNA Dental and Vision Care and was responsible for all aspects of finance, strategic development, management process and acted as the Chief of Staff to the President. Michele also had the opportunity to serve as the Chief Productivity Officer for CIGNA Group, Dental and Intracorp businesses and was responsible for driving strategic and tactical project initiatives and promoting a Six Sigma culture of continuous improvement through productivity and quality initiatives, supporting strategy execution and driving a consistent management process. In addition, she drove initiatives around risk management and compliance aligned with the business strategy, financial and operating plans. Prior to joining CIGNA, she served as Chief Financial Officer for Oral Health Services (OHS) and Business Assurance Manager for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers). Michele earned her BA in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the AICPA and FICPA organizations. She is past president of the Healthcare Finance Management Association and past Executive Board of Director for Junior Achievement of South Florida. Michele has been a member of Women Executive Leadership since its inception and is now serving as a Board of Director. She also provides mentorship to upcoming women, has participated in and supported the MS 150, March of Dimes and United Way. Email: mhass@welflorida.com
