Cindy Kushner is a Partner with Crowe Horwath LLP with more than 20 years of experience in Big 4 accounting firms serving clients in the public and private sector as a trusted tax and business advisor. Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the top 10 public accounting and consulting firms in the U.S., has been recognized by local best places to work programs in Florida, West Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio, for our work/life programs that include Crowe's flexible work arrangement program, road warrior program, Women Into Leadership (WIL) program and personnel assistance programs. Cindy is actively involved with WIL, a program designed to support Crowe Horwath's commitment to retaining, developing, and advancing women leaders within our firm.
Women Executive Leadership (WEL) is an extension of Cindy's passion and commitment to advance women in leadership and raise the visibility of the female talent pool; which is precisely the reason she founded this organization in 1999, to help companies more easily identify female ready candidates and help women more easily assess the opportunities, and help train them.
In addition to serving as Chairman and founder of WEL, she currently serves on the United Way of Broward County's Governance Committee, and on the Advisory Board of National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) South Florida. Cindy is a member of the AICPA; FICPA; and served on the FICPA Mobility Task Force. She has been a mentor in the Women of Tomorrow program for 7 years, and has served on various charitable and professional committees and Boards, including InterOrganization (ION) as past Officer and Board Director; Florida Venture Forum as past Director, and Diabetes Research Institute Foundation as an Ambassador.
