Evelyn D'An is President and founder of D'An Financial Services (DFS), a consulting firm that combines the commitment to quality and client services focus of a Big 4 professional service firm with a strong value proposition. DFS provides the expertise and insight of highly qualified accounting, finance, information technology and strategic tax professionals to clients. DFS provides the right resources at the right time, and has assisted clients with project management for implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, GAAP technical assistance for complex accounting matters and transactions, interim Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Controllership responsibilities, as well as other accounting and financial reporting matters.
Prior to establishing DFS, Evelyn D'An, a Certified Public Accountant, was a highly qualified and results-driven Audit Coordinating Partner with 18 years at Ernst & Young focused in assurance and business consulting, serving both domestic and international clients. The first Hispanic female audit partner in the Ernst & Young Southeast market which includes Atlanta, Florida, Birmingham, Nashville, the Carolinas, etc.
Evelyn currently serves on the Board of Directors and the Audit Committee of both Alico, Inc., based in Florida and Hot Topic, based in California. Both companies are registered on the NASDAQ. She is the named financial expert for both of these companies, is the Chair of the Nominating and Governance committee for Hot Topic, and the Chair of the Audit Committee for Alico. She also served on the Audit Committee for the City of Miami. Evelyn is also the Vice Chair for Women Executive Leadership.
