Stephanie Schaff
Board Member
Stephanie Schaff is currently a consultant specializing in business development as well as sales and use tax consulting with more than 24 years of experience in Big 4 accounting firms and serves as Treasurer for the Mapes Piano String Company. Prior to becoming an independent consultant, Stephanie served as a Senior Manager in KPMG's US Indirect Tax practice, based in Tampa, with over 13 years of multi-state sales and use tax experience providing innovate sales and use tax compliance and consulting services to clients in various industries. Stephanie began her career at KPMG in October 2006. Prior to joining KPMG, Stephanie was a manager with Ernst & Young and has also worked in the tax department at Deloitte & Touche.
Stephanie's experience includes audit assistance and negotiations, sales and use tax research, consulting and tax minimization, reverse audit studies and voluntary disclosure negotiations and agreements. Industry experience includes retail, manufacturing, utilities, health care, software and telecommunications.
Stephanie has a BS in Accounting from The University of Tampa. She has served as a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, State Tax Section Committee, and holds the CMI designation with the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
