WEL has been very fortunate in attracting the support of many business leaders, executives, and directors across the country as keynote speakers who embody the mission of gender diversity in the Boardroom and in the Executive Suite. The Keynote Speaker for 2008 was Sherry Barrat, Executive Vice President for Northern Trust Corporation, and member of the Board of Directors of FPL Group, Inc., one of the companies recognized at the 2008 Corporate Salute for having two or more female Board members; and Eleanor Bloxham, CEO of Value Alliance, whose company coaches boards.
