Vicki W. Kramer, principal of V. Kramer & Associates, provides consulting and group facilitation to nonprofits, businesses, and professional firms; coaches individuals on career issues; and conducts research. Vicki has been a columnist, co-authored a book and various studies, and led a national study resulting in Critical Mass on Corporate Boards: Why Three or More Women Enhance Governance (Wellesley Centers for Women) and articles in the Harvard Business Review and other journals. She holds a B.A. from Wellesley and a Ph.D. from Harvard.
Jilaine Bauer, founder of Bauer Consulting, provides consultancy and project management services to financial institutions and other organizations helping them drive strategy, manage risk and improve operating performance. She specializes in corporate and board governance, regulatory compliance and organizational effectiveness. In addition to serving on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of ION, she also is on the Steering Committee of Milwaukee Women inc (MWi). She also has served on the Board of Governors of the Investment Advisers Association and on various committees of the Investment Company Institute.
Charlotte Laurent-Ottomane has over 20 years international and domestic experience with mega cap (revenue range of $2 to $30 Billion) industrial and hi tech companies, leading capital market strategies. With over 15 years experience in Europe, she has served on the Executive Committee of a public, multinational company as well as other senior level Working Committees, transforming company structure and management. Charlotte is the founder and president of Nvestcom, a capital markets consulting firm that provides strategic counsel to companies across all industry sectors.

Vicki Kramer, a co-founder of ION and a renowned advocate and researcher on women’s role in the boardroom and Jilaine Bauer, a recognized expert in corporate and board governance who will discuss the current trends they are seeing in the boardroom. Vicki and Jilaine will give their views on how diversity will be a part of the changes anticipated and if the needle will move in 2010 and beyond. The panel will be moderated by Charlotte Laurent-Ottomane, board member and Treasurer of WEL and President-Elect of ION.
