Peggy Foran recently joined Prudential Financial, Inc (NYSE:PRU) as Vice President, Chief Governance Officer and Corporate Secretary. Her responsibilities include Corporate Governance, M&A, capital raising, disclosure, derivatives, shareholder services and the office of the Corporate Secretary. Previously, Peggy was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Sara Lee and Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel and Secretary at Pfizer. She has served as the Co-Chair of the Council of Institutional Investors and Chair of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, as well as a Director of MONY Group, Inc. She is a member of the Standing Advisory Group of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and the NYSE Stockholder Approval Policy Task Force. Peggy earned her bachelor's and J.D. degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
